Michelle has Generalized Lymphatic Anomaly, GLA, and had multiple problems and symptoms throughout life along with multiple doctors and surgeries. Her diagnosis did not come until she was 37, six months after the original scans and biopsies.
Amber is looking forward to a future with increased accessibility to compassionate healthcare. Amber is currently writing a book about her journey in order to raise awareness of this rare disease and the necessity of bolstering support for adult patients.
